Italy: the remains of a warrior discovered in the third millennium BC |

Italian archaeologists have found on the seafront in central Italy before the tomb of a warrior than 4000 years old - reported the Associated Press agency.
The discovery was made near the beach in the town of Nettuno on the Tyrrhenian Sea, located approximately 65 kilometers south of Rome. According to experts, the tomb dates from the third millennium BC and contained a skeleton warrior, who could die from a hit by an arrow, whose tip was found among his ribs. In the vicinity of a warrior skeleton discovered - named by explorers Nello - were buried two daggers and six clay vases. The scientists intend to search the area nearest the place of discovery and to determine whether a fallen warrior's tomb is part of a larger cemetery, or a single grave of a soldier killed in combat. Bones of a skeleton has been extracted from the ground and will be studied.
